Matt was born in Manchester, VT, the oldest of five children. From an early age, it was clear that Matt was blessed with exceptional athletic skills. He was twice named "Athlete of the Year" in middle school, excelling in soccer, softball and basketball. In High School, Matt was named to the All-State teams for baseball and wrestling. Combined with his excellent academic performance, Matt won a scholarship to Harvard, where he played on the varsity baseball and basketball teams, all while earning Dean's List Honors. Majoring in Economics at Harvard ignited a passion that has propelled Matt's career ever since. 

 

In 2006, Matt joined a Wall Street firm in the investment management division. By the time he left that firm in 2011, he had learned a lot about Wall Street, including the fact that many individuals wind up with too much risk in their personal finances. Because of the safe money orientation of insurance, Matt transitioned into a career focused on insurance planning and safe money retirement security. In 2012, Matt Founded Matt Jackson Safe Money Associates. The firm has enjoyed tremendous growth and now serves more than 1,000 individuals and families. 

 

IIn 2014, Matt married her high school sweetheart, Jennifer. They are now the parents of three children, Boyd, Ben and Susie.
